A production based on high quality milk from the “AOP Charente Poitou”

Cow milk of high quality is essential to produce the best formula, because major parts of the formula (such as proteins, lactose) are from cow milk. Most of Biostime Infant Formula and Mama Nutritional Milk are based on cow milk collected on the controlled area (AOP Charente Poitou) where Laiterie de Montaigu is located. Contracts are signed with local farmers who have to comply with strict specifications and regular audit of the regional AOP control laboratory.

  • The cows are raised in well defined farming areas with no pollution
  • The milk is subjected to a double control by both the Laiterie de Montaigu and the regional AOP laboratory
  • Milk is collected every day and immediately pasteurized to prevent microbial contamination

Formulas rich in valuable ingredients
To bring into the Chinese market the most advanced infant formulas, we have been using highly valuable and innovative ingredients. All our formulas contain β-vegetable oil, unique in China, which is better absorbed by the baby than normal vegetable oil. It reduces the chances of constipation and increases the absorption of fat and calcium compared to standard formula on the market.

We have also improved the protein composition by adding more functional whey proteins naturally present in human breast milk. α-lactalbumine and LPN contribute respectively to a better digestion and to the strengthening of the defense mechanisms.

On this occasion Dr. Bo Lonnerdal commented on the Biostime Infant Formula as following:
